Butler Tanner & Dennis is the major supplier of colour books in the United Kingdom. After over a century of monochrome book production it invested in colour printing in 1988 with a Roland 800. Today books are produced on Heidelberg and KBA presses with the UK’s first Heidelberg Speedmaster XL 162 press now on stream. Printing and binding as well as all component manufacture are carried out at the Caxton Road site with emphasis on rapid lead times and deliveries direct to UK retailers. With capacity for up to 400,000 books per week Butler Tanner Dennis specialises in sewn hardbacks and unsewn, PUR paperbacks. With a London based sales team, combined with skilled customer liaison personnel at the Frome plant, we offer clients a professional and dedicated service.
