Whichever facets we examined, our history, our printing pedigree, our factory, our people, our relationships, our approach to the environment, our past achievements or our future plans, one factor seemed to unite them all, our location at the heart of the community in Frome. After 166 years we firmly believe that sense of place means something. It defines who we are, how we do things, what we have learnt over the years and what matters to us most. More than anything, it reflects a sense of pride. This book is based on that same mindset. It features the landscape around us and the place where we work. It tells the stories of some of the people who work here and their lives within the local community. It presents a selection of work from our long history and provides a brief sketch of how we have grown and evolved over the years. We recognise that all these things combine to make us who we are, a company that is proud of being – From Frome.
